Grandma's Cookies?

I've been trying to find the cookie recipe my grandma used to make for Christmas. They were chocolate cookies, and when cooked, they would crack along the top. They were chewy on the inside and a little crunchy on the outside, mmmmm. I might have to try this recipe sans sugar dusting.
