How to Smell Like a Book

I heard about "In the Library" on NPR last year, but now there are multiple book-related fragrances. I'm surprised by this trend, but maybe I shouldn't be. I like the smell of paper and ink that you catch when you first walk in a bookstore, so perhaps other people do, too.

Christopher Brosius Limited maker of "In the Library" says that the scent is based on the scent of Morocco leather binding, worn cloth, and wood polish. I'm not sure that it's available any more, though.

Demeter Fragrance Library offers "Paperback" - flowery with musty paper notes. Also available as body lotion, shower gel, and room fragrance.
"Paper Passion" was inspired by German publisher Gerhard Steidl's statement that his favorite scent was "a freshly printed book." Wallpaper Magazine commissioned perfumer Geza Schoen to formulate a fragrance. Another limited edition at $98 - this is also discontinued. Maybe the attraction of smelling like books is overrated.
