Snack Reviews
In my search for tasty and healthier snack foods, I've been trying some vegetable-based crunchy treats. From Whole Foods, I have dried beet chips and dried green beans. From Trader Joe's, Salt & Pepper Rice Crackers, Salt & Pepper Lentil Crackers, and Edamame Crackers.
The green beans have very little taste beyond saltiness, while the beets are surprisingly good. Both the rice & lentil chips were light & crunchy, but heavily seasoned and full of sodium. I have yet to try the edamame chips.
So far, cashews, almonds, and sunflower seeds remain in the forefront of tasty, healthy snacks.
